Our Basic Simple Ceremony

"This is a basic example of our simple ceremony. Depending on your specific officiant it could be a little different."

                                                                                       The Greeting

                                                                               Good Afternoon/Evening

At this time i would like to thank all of you on behalf of "The Groom" and "The Bride" to help celebrate their special day. Also at this time i would like all of you to bow your heads in a moment of silence in memory of family and friends that are here in spirit and not in body. Thank You.

                                                                                       Introduction

I ask at this time who gives the brides hand away in marriage? Sir/Ma'am thank yo for your blessing. Today, on this day, we celebrate the marriage of "The Groom" and "The Bride".

                                                                                         The Body

Marriage is a promise, a promise between two people who love each other, who trust that love, who honor one another as individuals, and who wish to spend their rest of their lives together. Marriage enables two individuals to share each others dreams, desires, memories, joy and sorrow, and help one another through the unexpected certainties of life. Marriage is a unity which is eternally whole and complete.

                                                                                         The Vows

At this time i would like you to both face each other, reach out to one another by joining hands, and accept the vows you are about to receive. Do you "Groom" take "Bride" to be your wife? Do you promise to love her, comfort her, protect her, and forsake all others until time parts you both? Groom response "I Do". "Bride" do you take "Groom" to be your husband? Do you to also promise to love him, comfort him, protect him, and too forsake all others until time parts you both? Bride response "I Do"
